Beginners’ Tarot

The Academy of Tarot’s Beginners’ Tarot course is a great introduction for those starting out on their path of understanding. The course introduces you to all the nuances of learning how to read Tarot cards.  We use the Rider-Waite deck, as we believe that once you have mastered this deck, you will be proficient in reading most other decks and can go on to choose a deck that really resonates with you.

• Those with interest in Tarot and using it in conjuction with their field
• Those interested in learning how to read their own tarot spreads

What the course covers:

We introduce you to the images and definitions of all 78 Tarot cards and practise at least four readings together, including general spreads and those concerning relationships, work life etc.

You will learn about your ‘Soul’ Card and what this says about your purpose in life, together with your ‘Teacher’ Card, which indicates your lessons to learn in this life.

We will also look at how Tarot links to astrology and numerology.

We look in detail at the Celtic Cross which is one of the main spreads to understand.

When and where:

The Beginners Tarot course is taught on a one-to-one basis by Debbie Winterbourne. Teaching takes place at Quantum House, Euston, London.
